I get it, there are a TON of things running through your mind right now as you’re planning this wedding….
Specializing in intimate weddings, receptions, small gatherings and special occasions.
In a world of 30+ wedding television shows, hundreds of wedding websites and thousands of awe-inspiring pins, it’s no wonder why the “best day of your life” ends up becoming one of the most expectation-driven, stressful events you’ve attended; in fact, you barely even got to see or enjoy. I enjoy working with those who wish to cut through the continual noise and wedding clutter and shift their focus to what truly matters: You + Your Love + Your Commitment To One Another.

Thank you for being here! When it comes to your wedding day, I truly believe that the most beauty can be found in every day things; your laugh lines, a child’s expression, two people embracing, the colors of nature, etc. I emphatically disbelieve in the theory that the higher and fuller the floral arrangement, the more perfect your wedding day will be. While pretty things, are, well…pretty, and make for nice photographs, you, the love of your life, and the sacredness of your commitment to one another and the joy that it brings, make for GREAT photographs…and I cannot wait to capture them for you.
You can expect to receive images primarily photojournalistic in nature, where mostly natural light is used when possible. Staying behind the scenes, in most cases, enables me to capture the pure rawness of each moment, when people are experiencing and expressing their truest emotions. I love capturing the beauty even in the subtlest of things. All images are lightly edited with modest colors and tones, so as to stick to as true as possible to the moment that your memory recollects.

Listed below are some of the common questions that I receive when clients are looking to book a photographer. Please don't hesitate to contact me if there are other questions that you may have.
With a camera always in hand since middle school, I shot my first wedding back in 2009. Since then, I’ve shot numerous weddings and events from large weddings to small, intimate backyard weddings, showers, engagement parties, rehearsals, graduation and anniversary parties, baptisms and more. What started out as a hobby business became a full-time endeavor in early 2015, and Low-Key Love® was officially launched in 2016.
Yes. Rest assured that you are choosing a professional that values her business. I am happy to provide proof of insurance to any venue that requires it.
Most definitely! Your memories are extremely important to me and I take prepping for your big day very seriously. I always have with me at least 2 camera bodies, as well as a variety of lenses and extra batteries and memory cards.
Only yours! To provide the best possible customer service experience, I only take on so many weddings a year. On your wedding day, believe it or not, I become emotionally invested in you, your love story, and your celebration. It’s been said that “you don’t see a photograph, you feel it,” and limiting the amount of weddings per year allows me to immerse myself completely into capturing and preserving all of the special little moments of that day.
Of course! While blog posts are an easy and fun way to share your images with your family and friends, as well as a great way for me to showcase my work and photography style, I try to limit the number of photographs posted in the blog entries since weddings, no matter how big or small, after all, are intimate events. That being said, I am more than happy to show you a full gallery in person during our initial meeting, so please don’t hesitate to ask!
While a shot list for any formal family photos you want is most definitely helpful and welcomed, I try to avoid agreeing to extensive detailed shot lists and/or a collection of images from pinterest that you hope to recreate. While a pinterest board of photos you like would definitely help me to get a sense of the types of images you hope to have from your wedding day, time spent trying to recreate these images perfectly the day of usually results in less time spent capturing the day as it naturally unfolds, which is usually where all the magic happens.
Hopefully this won’t be the case, but I completely understand that circumstances arise unexpectedly and you may need to cancel. While the retainer is non-refundable, if you have a last-minute date change, I will do my best to accommodate the new wedding date at no additional charge.
Depending on how many hours of coverage you select, the total amount of images you may receive can be between 300-900. It depends on the timeline and happenings of the day, but usually it’s more.
Most definitely! I typically try to wait until it gets closer to your wedding date. That way, I know I can get a more accurate picture of what the weather, landscape characteristics, and lighting situations will be on your actual event date. I am happy to schedule this with the venue coordinator so that’s one less thing you have to worry about.
Probably! Over the years I’ve photographed at many beautiful houses of worship, wedding venues, home properties, and more! Listed below are just some of the many. But, rest assured, whether or not I have photographed at your venue before, I always scope out your locations ahead of time so that come wedding day, I’ll have a good sense of what we can except in terms of weather, lighting, foliage, road construction/traffic changes, and more!

All images are lightly edited with modest colors and tones, to stick to as true as possible to the moment that your memory recollects My main focus is photographing the way people love. Your wedding photos will be a testament to the fact that you are loved just the way you are. What someone sees when they look at your wedding photographs isn’t the size of your waist, it’s the size of your smile, and the natural glow on your face when you’re standing next to your new spouse.
Will I remove blemishes? Sure! But at heart, my goal is to create authentic images.
You sure will! While a majority of the photos you will receive will be in color, I typically include some black and white edits, depending on the shot. If you find that you would like to have a color photo from your gallery printed in black & white, there is an option for that if you order prints through the shopping cart attached to your online gallery.
